So me and my cousins who haven't seen each other in a while are all going to be spending time together this halloween. They planned to be the Jersey Shore Cast (Which i don't really know the show that good since i never watched it) but for the fun of it am going along with their idea. My cousins already claimed Snooki, Jwow, and Sammi so they said the only person left is Angelina. Obviously there are no costumes (except for Snooki), and I don't know what to buy or wear outfit wise, jewelry wise, or shoes wise. Please help!

Why do people label me emo/scene/mosher?

Well I wear skinny jeans (not tight) plain t-shirts or t-shirts with funny/cute pictures and slogans. I also wear converse and i have a side fringe and layers. I'm into lots of different types of rock (NOT screamo i mean like punk and alternative and some metal, and others). I don't wear make-up, i juss wear mascara and every now and then a little bit of eyeliner. I have lots of jewellery and i'm a little bit random..
i'm fed up with people calling me emo/scene/mosher. it's pathetic. especially mosher. i in no way fit into that catagory. :@ does anyone know how i feel?

i have a class project wre i have to actually do a job interview, and i have to dress the part. i dont know what to wear! the class is my first class of the day. i am five two and half, have blure/green eyes, blonde hair with reds and browns it in. and have big brests. and curvy. im sure what to wear at ALL! clothes, colors, make up, shoes, and jewelry and hand bag.

How does this sound for a gift for me to give my Bridesmaid’s?

I am trying to figure out my Gifts to my Bridesmaid’s so I can start budgeting for it. I don’t want to go the jewelry route (any wedding Jewelry I have gotten I have hated), I doubt my girls will want something with the date on it, and big monogrammed bags will only be cared for by one or two of the 5 of them. So here is my Idea:

A decent yet inexpensive Wicker basket from a craft store with ribbon in the wedding colors on the handles. In the basket I will put a bottle of wine from the Fingerlakes region of New York (That is where my FH is from), a small Penn State momento (That is where I am from) and a pair of cute black flip flops for them to change into for the reception if they don’t want to wear their heels anymore. Then I might fill it in a bit with candy. Oh! And my 14 year old sister would be getting sparkling grape juice and NOT wine lol

Does this sound like something you would enjoy? I know its something I would prefer over jewelry. And they all drink wine (Except the 14 year old)

I don’t really want my girls to all look alike. They are individuals and I can’t STAND when a bridal party all looks identical. I found cute flowers for their hair, but I have already purchased those and gave them to the girls so when they are deciding on how they want to do their hair they can figure out how to incorporate them.
Sorry, I actually didn’t attend Penn State lol I GREW UP there. That is where I am from. And it is what Defines the area I am from. I figured that was better than a basket full of tailgate food lol!

Now Victoria’s Secret is something I think they would all go for (Though I don’t know how my mom would feel about me getting my little sis one, I can improvise with her). There is only one who may be uncomfortable with it. But I can question around and find out for sure. Good call!

Sephora was out. It isn’t easily accessible for some and I have heard 2 of the girls say they don’t like it. I personally don’t know anything about it.

And don’t worry, they are nice flip flops, not $10 Wal-Mart.

How much to spend on each child?

I am hoping you can give me some sound advice. Up until last year, I was the single mother of an 11 year old girl. She has never had contact with her father, and we don’t receive any financial support. I have recently married a wonderful man, who has a 14 year old daughter of his own that my daughter and I absolutely adore. He is a great dad, spends time with her, pays support, helps her mom with all of the little extras that she needs.

I don’t want him to stop doing any of these things as I want our kids to feel that they are absolutely equal in our eyes. The problem is that, because I receive no help from my daughters father, I feel that I have no choice but to spend extra on my daughter at times. Being that I am the soul provider for her, I am the only one that buys her clothes, jewelry, toys, games, etc. I feel that my husband is resenting this and I don’t know how to explain to him that it will never really be an “equal” thing. I don’t even really know if I am explaining it to you right!

A perfect example, I guess, would be school clothes. I am planning on spending a few hundred on my daughter, as she has grown so much over the summer that nothing fits her anymore. We are helping to pay for an expensive calculator ($300) for his daughter, and I’d like to give her $50 for some new clothes (on top of our regular child support), but he thinks we should spend the same amount on her school clothes that I do on my daughters….even though her mom took her shopping last week and got her tons of stuff. She is very well taken care of and wants for nothing. What do I do? Am I wrong?
I should add, that there is an order in place for support from my daughters father, but being that he disappeared, there is nothing anyone can do to enforce it.

Best way to Sell off my possessions - jewelry, Louis Vuitton, other items?

I am on the verge of bankruptcy due to a serious gambling problem and shopping addiction. I do not want to file bankruptcy but would rather sell off my possessions. I have licked the gambling problem but now need to pay off lots of credit cards.

I have some Tiffany jewelry, other good jewelry, Louis Vuitton purses & wallets, nic nacs from England, art.

I have sold items to gold buyers but got scammed. I have sold items through Ebay and Craigslist but it's time consuming and trying to deal with some people has been very difficult.

Does any one know a better way to sell my possessions while getting the best price? I need to scale down and pay off as much as possible. I will be living simply from this point on.

Any suggestions?
I have tried pawn shops but they don't work for me.

It seems like they get equality, a major advantage in court, and they don't have to pay for dates or anything related to relationships. It doesn't seem right, i want girls giving me $1000's in jewelry because i simply asked for some!

For my friend's party I've got to dress like a slutty groupie. So far I'm gonna wear a short black skirt, backcomb my hair and wears lots of eyeliner and red lipstick. But idk what else to wear. Polo shirt colors are limited to red, white, navy blue, light blue, hunter green, or black. Un-tucked shirts must be neat, straight across the bottom, and must not reveal midriffs or undergarments.

Any garment worn under the outer polo must be tucked in at all times.
Shirts may have a logo on the front, but it must not be larger than a 2-inch square. Collegiate wear, Mission shirts, SCA spirit shirts or Fine Arts shirts may be worn on Fridays.
Custom polo shirts (e.g., SCA basketball team shirts) that contain markings other than the approved logos require permission from the Middle School Principal or the High School Leadership Team (HSLT).

Pants/Shorts

Pants/shorts are to be worn at the level that meets the SCA standard of neatness and modesty (e.g., at hip level). A belt may be needed to accomplish this.

Approved colors of pants/shorts are black, khaki, navy or gray and may be purchased from any vendor if the colors and styles match the SCA standard and Dennis style.

Girls' shorts must be no more than 4 inches above the top of the knee.



Skorts

Approved skort colors are black, khaki, or navy and must be purchased from the Dennis Uniform Store and be no more than 4 inches above the top of the knee.


Skirts

Approved skirt colors are black, khaki or navy.

Plaid skirts for grades 6-8 must only be Liberty plaid.
Plaid skirts for grades 9-12 must only be Marymount plaid.

All skirts must be purchased from the Dennis Uniform Store and must be no more than 4 inches above the top of the knee. All skirts/skorts purchased will have an SCA logo at the bottom. Beginning with the fall of 2010, only skirts/skorts with logos will be allowed.



Shoes

Shoes must be worn at all times.

No slippers or similar type shoes are allowed. Feet must be protected by a hard rubber sole. If in doubt as to whether the shoes are appropriate, please ask.



Outerwear

In terms of all outerwear (jackets, sweaters, pullover/cardigan sweatshirts), they must comply with SCA standards related to solid colors - red, white, navy blue or black. Any logos on the front of the outerwear must not be larger than a 2-inch square.

Pullover sweatshirts and team/club sweatshirts that are approved by administration may be worn over a polo shirt. All team wear and printing must be of SCA school colors.

SCA letter jackets may be worn.


Grooming (Boys)

Hair should be neat, clean, above the collar in the back, above the eyebrows, and no longer on the side than the middle of the ear. Any hair style considered inappropriate by the Middle School Principal, Dean of Students, or any member of the High School Leadership Team (HSLT) will not be permitted.

Hair should be of its natural color.
Hair style, even if it conforms to the above regulations, must not be distracting in its appearance.
Boys are to be clean shaven (no beards or mustaches) and sideburns are to be kept no longer than the bottom of the ear.

Grooming (Girls)

Jewelry

The only piercings allowed are pierced ears for girls.
No pagan, occult or New Age symbols are allowed (peace signs, ankhs, crystals, yin yangs).
Excessive ornamentation (e.g., pocket chains, distracting necklaces, etc.) is not allowed.


Accessories

Students must not wear items with symbols of rock bands, sexual innuendo, inappropriate messages or pictures, rebellious stunts, occult symbols, alcohol, drugs/substance abuse or other questionable pictures.
Students must not have visible tattoos or drawings on skin.
Hats may be worn (bill facing forward) before or after school hours.

Seniors

Jeans and administration-approved spirit-wear or senior shirts may be worn on Fridays.

Does anyone know what type of wire Darice brand beading wire is? (silver color)?

I bought Darice beading wire to use, but I don't know what type of metal it is (I have to watch out for allergies to base metal while making my jewelry)...Can anyone help me out? The package doesn't say anything about what kind of metal, and neither does their website.
