Help with two density problems please?

Could you help me set up and solve these two problems with density?

A graduated cylinder contains 16.5 of water. What is the new water level after 36.2 of silver metal with a density of 10.5 is submerged in the water?

A 70.0 silver object and a 20.0 gold object are both added to 75.5 of water contained in a graduated cylinder. What is the new water level in the cylinder?
Density of silver = 10.5 , density of gold = 19.3 .

I feel kinda stupid for asking, but does anyone remember this movie?

Somethin made me think of a movie I used to watch ALL the time as a little kid, but suddenly I can't remember the name of the movie, the little girl's name, nothing. My details are scarce, and I apologize for that! Anyway, if anyone could help, that would be amazing!! Here's the details that I can remember:

-The main character was a girl, not very old. If I remember right, she was a red head with freckles
-If I remember correctly, she had a pet monkey, along with a pet horse. The horse was white with black spots, and went just about everywhere with her
-I do believe the movie was also a cartoon
-There was somethin about gold pieces she had or somethin like that, and I can vaguely remember her and her horse bein on some type of ship... I think...
-If I remember correctly, she more or less lived on her own with her pets

4-5 small fish
1-2 cool looking fish
1 "test" fish

"test" as in the fish will be cheap and put in to test the tank so i don't buy expensive fish then they all die..

I need ideas on what kind of fish to get... also i want ones that arnt to hard to care for

My tank is 2 feet across and 1 foot wide...the height is 1 and a half feet
How many fish do you think i can fit in total
(i've had 7 goldfish at a time so far and they were fine)

For small fish i mean like anywhere from 1 inch to 2 inches long (around there)

cool looking fish could be any size

also the plants in my tank are fake
and no the 7 gold fish are loong gone there not still there

is it okay to be a girly-girl?

i'm the girl that everyone says is "nice and sweet" and "always tries her best at school", and "gives great advice". :) i've also been called a girly-girl, because purple (and pink) are my favorite colors, and also i love wearing makeup (in pinks, purples, and golds-light shades applied to my eyes, and pink lips and cheeks), and my hair's either straight, in waves, or up in a (messy) top knot. :) i took all the seventeen.com quizzes about beauty, fun, style, and even prom, and i got all sweet, girly, or ultra pretty and feminine things (as answers). i'm glad that i am the way that i am, but, i was wondering, do people have a certain perception of (me, or anyone else), being a girly-girl? like, do they think we're not tough or strong, or not smart? sometimes i feel that i am boring or that people don't think that i can stand up for myself. :/ i would like to know what ya'll think, and if you can help me out, that'd be great! thanks a million! <3
also, i guess i would rather be called a pretty girl than an edgy girl...you know? wearing a bunch of black and ripped clothing just isn't my thing...=/

usually when i see a black man dating outside the race, shes usually clean, better taken care of, spoiled and treated like gold. if they have their biracial children they stay and never leave the woman by herself, spoil the child, take them to the park, for ice cream and all that mess while i usually see single black mothers raising their children by themselves and these black men have left these women out in the cold but yet they would get 8 jobs breaking their necks to support their non black woman and mixed race baby why is this???

I'm not understanding at all on how to do this. For some reason nothing is clicking. I tried different methods to working them out and still can't come to a conclusion or correct answer.

(a) If a cube of gold with a mass of 33.16 g is pressed into a leaf of 2.400 µm thickness, what is the area of the leaf?
(b) If, instead, the gold is drawn out into a cylindrical fiber of radius 1.000 µm, what is the length of the fiber?

2) A unit of time sometimes used in microscopic physics is the shake. One shake equals 10^-8 s.
(a) How many more shakes in a second are there than seconds in a year?
(b) Humans have existed for about 10^6 years, whereas the universe is about 10^10 years old. If the age of the universe is taken to be 1 "universe day", for how many "universe seconds" have humans existed?

3) The Earth has a mass of 5.98x10^24 kg. The average mass of the atoms that make up the Earth is about 40 u. How many atoms are in the Earth?
*I know that 1 u = 1.66053886x10^27 kg, but I'm not even sure if that's relevant.


I've attempted each and every one of these problems myself, and haven't been able to figure anything out.

a) suffer
b) Seek God's face

Ideas on how to put some character into my bedroom?

I've recently redecorated my bedroom, it has cream walls with a feature wall in a copper/cream/chocolate/grey floral pattern. My carpet is chocolate brown, bed is antique brass, wardrobe is 'wenge'. I have a small bookacase in a nutmeg colour and a suede armchair which is a greyish cream.

So here's my question, there is a piece of wall in my bedroom which looks extremely bare. So I was wondering what I should do with it. (The bit of wall is just over a metre in width).
So far my ideas are: Three shelves which I will put lots of 'shabby chic' items on, picture frames, candles etc. and run some white fairy lights through the shelves.
OR
Get lots of different picture frames, again 'shabby chic', all in cream, white and gold and have a wall of pictures.
OR
A nice print/canvas.
