Question #1:

What do you think of my first experience of a strip-club?

So when it comes to strip-clubs my opinion was pretty much just standard there dirty places for perverts etc. and I used to tell that to my male friends when they went to them. They go to this strip place every Saturday at the end of there night outs and I always go home and refuse to go and just get a taxi myself...

So last weekend I was giving my usual (slightly drunken) rant about how they are perverts for exploiting those women and my best friend said "You always judge us for going and say its seedy but you have never even been!" So we had a bit of an argument and I agreed to go but they had to pay for me! My plan was to walk in point out the nasty way it was then leave my point proven.

But I was shocked to see how nice it was! There weren't any poles or a stage just a lot of tables and chairs with nice decorations and people with drinks chatting quite a nice atmosphere was like a bar/club. Only thing was there were some very tall very busty and very blonde women in there underwear walking about mingling. We all sat down and had a drink like you do in any normal bar and after 5 mins one of the strippers came over and sat down with us and started being quite friendly asking our names if we had a good night etc. She was quite... Intimidating sitting there almost naked. Anyway she asked all of my fiends one by one if they would like a private dance they all politely declined but then surprisingly she asked me. I said yes as to the conditions of my friends argument and he paid and she took me by the hand and sat me in a booth I wont say what she did as its a bit adult obviously but this was my train of thought.

"Everyone here will think I'm a lesbian"
"Oh wow wish i had a flat tummy like that"
"Please stop sitting on me your crushing me"
"Iv never had those rubbed in my face before..."
"Are you allowed to take that off?"
"Oh my god that is pierced!"

After the dance we chatted about how I didn't expect this place to be like this and she told me its a very high class club but shes worked in some bad places. But she loves her job and working there apparently she was studying fashion during the day.

So my opinion of those places has changed since this experience. I now think that there are some bad ones! But there are some nice ones as well and they have there place. I suppose what I'm saying is not to judge something you really don't know anything about. I may even go back if invited, but wouldn't get another dance first one was awkward.
I didn't enjoy the private dance it was awkward I didn't know where to look and being so close to a woman made me feel weird so I wouldn't be having another one. It costs £30 to get in id pay for that in future if I went with them, I do not want to seem smug but me and my friends are rather well off and can afford it.
@Nultimatum Im open minded! Something you would know nothing about! Also my friend payed.
Way I look at it Type O is that the guys there go becuase they can. They can afford it and enjoy it, if there was a place you could go and get a strip dance by someone who looked like Brad Pitt you'd not turn it down lol
the Negative stereotypes are created by people the who oppose them.
the Negative stereotypes are created by people the who oppose them.
Double post, my bad. Blue eyes, they are places made by men for men really. If female sexuality was more similar to a males thered be just as many clubs where men rub there parts on strangers for money and I think you and all the other women would be far less opposed if that was the case, that's just my opinion now though as you can see my opinions are always drastically changing.

Question #9:

10 wedding rules you can break. What do you think?

I was reading on The Knot website about outdated wedding rules. How do you feel about them?

Old School Rule #1: The bride's parents pay for the wedding.
New Rule: Every couple funds the festivities in different ways. Maybe your mom and dad want to pay for every single thing, but, unlike in the past where the bride's family was expected to foot the whole bill, they're in no way obligated to now. Grooms' parents and the couples themselves chip in nearly as often as brides' parents do. It just depends on your family's situation. If you'd like your fiancé's parents' help, your husband-to-be will need to ask for it -- not you, and certainly not your parents. Just remember: Whoever pays gets a say. If you know your mother-in-law will insist on an in-church ceremony if she contributes and you've got your heart set on exchanging vows on a sandy beach, you may be happier cutting your guest list than asking her to contribute anything.

Old School Rule #2: You must invite everyone with a guest.
New Rule: If they'll know others, skip the plus-one. It's still polite (and very appreciated!) to invite guests' significant others, but if you're inviting a group of coworkers, for instance, and two or more of them are single, they should have no problem attending solo. Only when guests won't know anyone aside from the couple is it mandatory to let them bring a date. It's kind to invite attendants with guests too (they are shelling out big bucks for their attire!).

Old School Rule #3: Your registry should consist entirely of housewares for your new home.
New Rule: You can register for anything from honeymoon hotel accommodations to skiing equipment. Guess what, Grandma? Lots of couples live together before they get married and may have all of the towels and blenders they'll ever want. You can request upgraded versions of home items you already own, but nothing should stop you from creating a honeymoon or otherwise "untraditional" registry. These are your gifts, and you need to be happy with them! If you're inviting a few Internet-less guests, including items from a brick-and-mortar store they can actually get to will help prevent a buildup of unwanted presents. But you should feel free to include a ping-pong table for your basement or the complete Sex and the City DVD collection on your wish list if you can't use yet another kitchen appliance. A word of caution: Some of the older folks think that they know what brides and grooms really need, so they may get you an iron even if you haven't requested one.

Old School Rule #4: You must wear a long, white gown.
New Rule: Wear whatever you want! Sure, most brides go the long white or ivory route, but for your wedding day attire, anything goes: from a retro short dress to a silver, slinky sheath to a (gasp!) black pantsuit. As long as you feel fabulous in your outfit, it can be any color or style. You can even skip the veil! Warning: Your fashion choices may wind up shocking your older guests, especially the ones who equate wearing white with "purity." If you'd prefer that your look pleases the crowd but aren't willing to go totally traditional, try working in a hint of color via a dress sash, your shoes, jewelry or a hair accessory or opting for a tea-length dress.

Old School Rule #5: Your mom can't throw your shower.
New Rule: Anyone can throw your shower! People used to think it was rude for the bride's mother to host a party where the sole purpose was for her daughter to get gifts. Other close family members, like sisters, were similarly forbidden from hosting. We didn't get this then, and we don't get it now, and luckily, today's mothers of the bride are ignoring the passé etiquette. In some cultures and regions of the US, like Italians in the Northeast, the mother always hosted her daughter's shower. So encourage your mom to throw yours if you think that she wants to! Your bridesmaids may be itching to throw a shower for you too, so make sure that they coordinate with your mom before they make any definite plans.

Question #10:

Why are people so cheap when awarding points?

Seriously, what are they saving them for? If you can't win anything and you can't buy anything with them, why do people dole them out in such a miserly fashion? What are they saving them for, I don't understand.
I'm sorry, I meant stars, the ones you get for Best Answer" in this game. It is a game, right? Why else would they award stars and points and such?

Question #14:

Why was Laura Bush so much better than Michelle Obama?

Besides not acting like a spoilt diva that is.
Remember the narrative: Conservative women are elitists who decorate, buy nice clothes and play Barbie; liberal first ladies are independent feminists who can't be bothered by inanities like fashion and play. But Michelle this summer enjoyed a movable feast from Marbella to Martha's Vineyard, in designer clothes and shades. Laura Bush used to vacation at the national parks.

Question #16:

Somebody interesting in Traditional Chinese medicine?

As we know, Chinese medical culture has a long history. Nowadays, in the world, learning TCM natural therapies has become a fashion and more and more people would like to experience TCM natural therapies to prevent and cure diseases. Meanwhile, TCM natural therapies are very effective for some commonly seen diseases such as hypertension, obesity, diabetes, etc. It is proved that traditional Chinese medicine plays more and more important role on our daily life. For me, I'm a TCM lover, I insist on practicing Taichi everyday for more than eight years, and I am deeply appreciated the magic role of Taichi on regulating human physical and mental health. I hope anyone like me who are concern about health and interested in TCM, can persist in learning natural therapy, and also hope to be friends with you and exchange ideas.

Question #17:

Am I the only one that finds strippers for a bachelor party disrespecful?

I think that the idea of going to a strip club or having a stripper the night before your wedding is completely disrespectful. I think that a wedding is something sacred and beautiful and think that strippers cheapens it. I think that the night before the wedding shouldn't be a time of demoralizing yourself by watching a naked woman grind sexually all over the place.

But maybe I am an old fashioned prude. Are there any other prudes out there? I accept my prudish sentence, is anyone else with me?
ok regardless of when the party takes place, I still think it's gross to participate in that kind of activity when you are in a committed relationship

Question #18:

Is the Fashion Institute of Technology over in New York a good school?

I would love to hear what people have to say about it. I'm wanting to major in merchandising & marketing.
Thanks! :)

Question #19:

Home & Auto Insurance Rip-Off?

My home & Auto insurance has doubled thisyear. I called today to ask why as I had no claims or tickets. The reason I was told was the new way that rates are based. My agent said that your credit score is now used in the calculation of your rate. With one credit card that I pay off in full monthly and never a late payment nor any outstanding debt i would think I should have scored high on my credit report. I feel by being fiscally responsible I am being ripped off by the insurance companies by this foolish way of rating policies. are their any other insuance companies that still rate you the old fashioned way by your record?

Question #20:

Christian preachers, do you teach that the Messiah Jesus is God and part of a trinity with the Holy Spirit?

Actually, I know you do, but why? There are many many verses in the Holy Scripture where God says there is no other than He. It seems very clear to me. Don't you think by calling the Messiah Jesus Christ "God" and also calling the Holy Spirit God, the final part of your Trinity concept, don't you think you are challenging the self admitted jealous God??

What does it mean to you when God says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other." Isn't this vey clear?

Deuteronomy 4:35 You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other.

Deuteronomy 4:39 Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.

1 Kings 8: 60 so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God and that there is no other.

Isaiah 44:8 Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one."

Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me,

Isaiah 45:6 so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no other.

Isaiah 45:18 For this is what the LORD says— he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited— he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.

• Isaiah 45:22 "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
